Schoolz acts as a data controller or data processor depending on whether services are contracted directly by families or provided in partnership with a school.

Account & Contact Data
Full names, verified mobile phone numbers, email addresses, and account credentials required to authenticate users.
Student & Dependent Information
Student names, assigned grades, school destinations, home pickup coordinates, and authorized guardian handover instructions.
Operational & Telemetry Data
Real-time GPS location coordinates of vehicles during active routes, boarding and departure timestamps, and route completion records.

3. How We Use Information
To dispatch vehicles, calculate optimal stop itineraries, and execute safe school commutes.
To deliver real-time ride tracking, arrival alerts, and emergency notifications to parents and schools.
To administer subscription packages, process authorized payments, and provide prompt customer support.
To comply with legal obligations and school transport safety regulations in each active operational jurisdiction.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
Assigned captains receive only the minimal student information necessary (name, pickup stop, destination) to execute their assigned run safely.
Partner schools receive access to ride rosters, attendance logs, and route performance metrics for students enrolled at their campus.
We do not sell, rent, or monetize personal or student data with third-party advertisers under any circumstances.

5. Data Security & Storage
We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (TLS/SSL in transit, encrypted databases at rest) to safeguard personal records.
